About me
The most valuable photograph isn’t the one on your phone, it’s the one hanging on your wall thirty years from now. That’s why I create one-of-a-kind, handmade silver gelatin prints of your special day in the darkroom.
I’m Thomas, (you can call me Tom) a film and digital wedding photographer based on the Kent Coast, documenting weddings across the UK and beyond. I’ve recently become a dad for the first time to my beautiful baby, Indigo and I’m currently planning my own wedding with my wonderful fiancé, Alexandra.
My work is rooted in a documentary approach, allowing your day to unfold naturally and only stepping in when thoughtful guidance is needed. I want you to be fully present for your wedding day so you look back years from now and remember how your wedding felt, not just how it looked.
I absolutely love shooting on film. It encourages a slower, more intentional way of seeing and I believe the look is unmatched. Film photos have a depth to them that feels authentic and deeply personal. Another essential part of my practice is handcrafting traditional prints in the darkroom. I still find the century-old process truly magical. Watching a photo come to life in a tray of chemicals under the red glow of the darkroom gives me the biggest thrill.
In a world that is ever-changing and where almost everything is instant, a darkroom print is intended to be framed, lived with and passed down through generations as heirlooms.
Your wedding day will pass in a heartbeat. The flowers will wilt, the cake will be eaten, but your photographs will remain for a lifetime. If my approach resonates with you and you believe those memories deserve to be captured with honesty, integrity and craftsmanship, I’d be honoured to tell your story.
